This is a rare look at an underground phenomenon that is sweeping public libraries across the globe.  Verfied footage of library frolicking has never been captured on camera before this moment.

Leaked via the video sharing site Viddler, a frolicker known only as shedtroll gives us an unprecendented first look at one of the few Frolicking Permits issued by the World Frolicking Organization.  This permit seems to give the frolicker unlimited access to public areas for the purposes of frolicking.

Although the video footage you see above is blurry, the true spirit of the frolic shines through.  Let this be a lesson to you closet frolickers out there (including me): There’s no shame in the frolicking game.  Just be sure to keep your frolicking permit handy in case anyone questions your frolicking validity.

It’s coming down to an important time in 2008, and even at a neutral place like frolicking.org, we thought it was too important not to share the word here with you.

If you’re TiVo’ed up like me, it may have taken you a few days to hear about the word. A buddy of mine who ditched his TV a few months back still hadn’t heard about the word over a week later. Thanks to the power of the internet (and sites like, Viddler, Metacafe, and Hulu), there is really no excuse not to know the word.

By now, I’m pretty sure everyone has heard about the word. The question is though, did you know that the word is compatible with frolicking? It is fully frolicking 2.0 compliant.

Behold in this video, one of the first appearances of the frolicking cam, some wild ‘n out Surfin Bird frolicking, and some frolicking that is too amazing to put into words.

Warning: this video was shot using the experimental and highly controversial “frolicking cam”. Holding a camera while frolicking (especially tennis frolicking) should only be done by frolicking experts.

In this video, djsteen shows us his athleticism on the court with a highly spirited tennis frolic. Racket in hand, Derek gracefully executes frolic #300, the “net jump” frolic with a 180 twist.

While the camerawork may be a bit too blair witch-esque for some tastes, the frolicking skills exhibited in this video can be universally appreciated as a favorite by finer frolicking fans from far fetched free nations around the globe.

If you find yourself down 3-6, 2-6, 3 all in the tiebreak in your final set and you need a pick-me-up, consider a tennis frolic to get you back in the match.

Ramillen set out to create a new dance craze. Somewhere along the way, he succumbed to the lure of frolicking with reckless abandon.

When you hear the Paper Planes track from M.I.A. you almost can’t help but frolic. If you bought the remixes of the song from itunes, then you know the Scottie B remix is a frolic inducing club version fit for the most underground raves.

A bit of musical frolicking six degrees of separation trivia here: a phrase from the song “Paper Planes” was actually sampled in the collabo song “Swagger Like Us” (T.I./Kanye West/Lil Wayne/Jay-Z) featured in the Hood Frolicking video.

Ramillen and his lady friend put on a top notch frolicking show in this video, adhering to one of my favorite covenenants of frolicking: fully commit. They frolic on the beach, at the playground, on a swing set, and even in no parking zone.

I don’t know Matt from Brains on Fire, but I like his frolicking swagger.

In this video, what starts out as a mild mannered drawing to find out the winner of one of the company’s recent contests, turns into a spontaneous office frolic fest that spans 2 stories, a couple of city blocks and includes the loss of at least one shoe.  Now that’s frolicking.

I’m pretty sure I burned a few calories just watching this video.   I will have the sounds of “DEB IN DENVER!” playing in my head for the rest of the day like a songworm.

It does make me want to enter their next contest though

Wow is all I can say after watching this frolic filled video. Freakin’ wow.

In this video set out in nature somewhere, 7 friends put on a frolicking show to be remembered. You’ve got some synchronized frolicking, some hood frolicking, lots of slow-mo frolicking, and something I think I’ll just call “booty frolicking”

One thing I can say for this group of man frolickers is that they totally commit. A very impressive display of inhibition!

Aron Po shows off his frolicking under the influence skills in this video display of late night frolicking.

Video includes the never before seen, “balloon frolic” move, as well as a brilliant show of dexterity as Aron successfully frolics around both parked and moving cars.

I won’t give away the ending, but you should definitely sit through the credits on this movie. One word: cowboy.

The frolickfounders, Djsteen and leggyblonde are at it again. This time frolicking in the happiest place on earth: Disneyland.

In this video we learn that there is one rule to Disneyland frolicking: Disneyland frolicking has no rules!

DJSteen, leggyblonde and friends showcase some in store frolicking, some cotton candy frolicking with a twist, and it finishes off with some nifty letter frolicking. At one point, I hear you can actually see them frolic in the shape of the letter F, but you have to squint real close and wear those red and blue 3D glasses from the 80s. You’ll find the 3D glasses in this month’s issue of Frolic Magazine.

I took my daughters to their first trip to Disneyland last year and they frolicked like crazy. Nothing compared to the skillfull frolicking shown in this video, but I could still see some frolic potential. I’ll probably put them in frolic summercamp to build up their arm flailing techniques, and then when they get old enough, I’ll spring for some frolic private lessons to see if they can make it to the pros.

About a week ago I ran across the video publishing site, viddler.com and their featured video of the day was a video called “hood frolickin’ yo“.  I laughed so hard, I had to check out the whole “frolicking” phenomenon.

Then, the web guy in me thought, “wouldn’t it be cool if all the fun, feel good, frolicking type videos from all over the web were in one easy to find place?”. So I registered frolicking.org and here it is.
